Was there really any competition for couple of the night? Jay Z and Beyonce hit the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday night and completely stole the show. (Though we'll give some credit to KimYe, plus A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman). They were both outfitted in Givenchy for the special occasion — and Bey even threw in a little Lady Gaga action with a face mask — but the best moment came when she dropped her ring on the red carpet.
Jay Z, ever the gentlemen, came to his wife's rescue immediately. He located the ring that had fallen off of her hand, and bent down into a faux proposal position before he slipped it back onto her hand again. He had to know the cameras would love this one. Hov wins again.
Inside, the couple stuck close to each other, but Bey also took the time to pose for photos with Rihanna (and her nipples), Solange, and Lupita Nyong'o, which she later posted on Instagram.
