"The Shield" actor Michael Jace confessed to shooting his wife to death Monday night at their home in Hyde Park, law enforcement sources told The Times.
shooting his 40-year-old wife, April, multiple times about 8:30 p.m. Monday. She had arrived at the house in the 5400 block of Brynhurst Avenue about 10 to 15 minutes earlier after picking up the couple's sons from baseball practice, Det. Sal LaBarbera told The Times.Los Angeles police said in a statement that the motive for the shooting "is believed to be domestic violence." Neighbors reported hearing the couple arguing just before the shots rang out, KNBC-TV reported.
Michael Jace was standing in the doorway when police arrived and was ultimately arrested about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, police said. His wife's body was found in a hallway inside the home.
