Jupiter Ascending release date moved to 2015
If you are a science fiction fan that was eagerly awaiting the release of Warner Bros Sci-Fi action adventure Jupiter Ascending, which was scheduled to hit cinema screens in July this year, you are going to have a longer wait to see the movie.
I'm sure most Sci-Fi fans will know that Jupiter Ascending was due release on the 18th of July in the US, and 25th of July in the UK, however the latest word is that Jupiter Ascending has now been delayed, and will see release on the 6th of February 2015, reports Variety.
The rescheduling of Jupiter Ascending will no doubt come as a disappointment to many fans, and the reason behind the release push back, according to Warner Bros domestic distribution chief Dan Fellman, is that directors Andy and Lana Wachowski require more time to complete their work on over two thousand special effects.
Here's what Fellman also said… "With the July release date, they were just not going to make it on time. A lot of the issue for us was getting it ready for the international release, since the foreign territories need additional time."
So there you have it, Jupiter Ascending will not see release until February the 6th next year, and to make room for the release Warner Bros has pulled the Liam Neeson and Joel Kinnamon crime drama Run All Night, which was due release on the same day, and Warner Bros has said Run All Night will now release sometime in 2015.
Are you annoyed the release of Jupiter Ascending has been delayed until next year?
